Wilson County Historic Researcher Lisa Henderson will explore the life of Samuel Vick, a leader in Wilson’s African American community.  In his obituary, which appeared in the Wilson Daily Times on July 10, 1946, Mr. Vick was remembered as a “former Postmaster of Wilson, educator, banker, real estate dealer, theater owner, and businessman.” For more information, contact Tammy Medlin at 252-237-5355 ext. 5029 or tmedlin@wilsoncountync.gov.
