Funding for WIOA is administered by Turning Point Workforce Development Board, Inc., through Turning Point Workforce Development Board Integrated One-Stop Delivery System utilizing Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).

Enrollment Considerations

Consideration for enrollment is based on individual work history, current educational and skill levels, as well as the ability to fully complete and benefit from a short-term (up to two years) vocational training program in an occupation, based on the local labor market.

Services Offered

Applicants that meet the eligibility requirements and are accepted for enrollment will receive the following services from a trained workforce specialist:

• Assistance with developing an individual employment plan.
• Financial assistance to help pay for occupational skills training.
• Access to support services from Wilson Workforce Center partners and other community agencies.

How to Apply for WIOA

You must apply for WIOA in the county where you live. For Wilson County, apply at the Wilson Workforce Center, located in Building A on the Wilson Community College campus.
