Then call 252-399-2935 to make an appointment.  Please do not call until application is complete.  Only the marriage couple will be allowed in the office.  Please do not bring children or witnesses.

Welcome to the Wilson County Register of Deeds online.

Our online records search can be accessed from this site and presently contains all of our real estate indexes since 1974 and we are currently working to scan additional real estate documents to have the images accessible online.

The Register of Deeds and staff strive to provide the best possible service to our customers and to protect the integrity of the records that are recorded with us while providing open access to these public records.

Services

The Register of Deeds serves as the primary custodian and manager of Wilson's real property records and vital records. We record a variety of real property documents including:

• Deeds
• Deeds of trusts
• Mortgage cancellations
• Powers of attorney
• Maps
• Many other documents

The Vital Records Division maintains birth records, death records, and marriage licenses issued by Wilson County, as well as military discharges and administering oaths to notaries.
