2025 Wilson County Comprehensive Plan

The 2025 Comprehensive Plan for Wilson County articulates a vision of balancing growth and the preservation of rural character. The vision of this plan is a result of a year-long effort led by the Wilson County Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee -- reflecting the broad vision and goals of the County‘s residents, property owners, appointed boards, organizations and elected officials that participated during the process.  

The purpose of the Comprehensive Plan is to establish a set of guidelines and procedures for implementing the long-range development and conservation objectives of Wilson County. Specifically, the Plan is intended for use by government agencies, residents, private developers, property owners and private organizations concerned with planning the County‘s future growth, development and preservation.
