Budget Overview

The budget is prepared by Financial Services under the direction of the County Manager, and is approved by the Wilson County Board of Commissioners.

Budgets include: revenues, expenditures, appropriations for Wilson County Schools, Wilson Community College, and area projects funded by the County. Also included in the budget ordinance, is the adopted tax rate for each fire district.
