Each topic builds on the previous class, so please plan to attend all four sessions.
October 4: Excel Basics Prerequisite: Basic computer skills. Microsoft Excel allows users to work with numbers and data by creating spreadsheets. This class introduces you to spreadsheets and covers topics like how to create/modify them, format cells, and add borders to columns and rows.
October 11: Excel Charts & Graphs Prerequisite: Attendance at MS Excel Basics or equivalent experience. Charts and graphs can enhance the visual appeal of numbers as well as make it easier to interpret the story they're telling. Learn how easy it is to create them and share a graphical representation of your data.
October 18: Excel Formulas & Functions Prerequisite: Attendance at MS Excel Charts & Graphs or equivalent experience. Tired of looking for your calculator? Learn how Excel can help by automatically calculating totals, percentages, averages, and ranges, and how you can manipulate these calculations.
October 25: Excel Working with Tables Prerequisite: Attendance at MS Excel Formulas & Functions or equivalent experience. This session covers creating tables and pivot tables, sorting and filtering data, working with large spreadsheets, and more.
